Guiding Principles
Health Equity
I believe that everyone, regardless of ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status, deserve high-quality and accessible holistic healthcare. To that end, I offer a sliding scale fee to those who may otherwise not be able to afford holistic health services.
Trauma-Informed Care
A trauma-informed approach to care is recognizing the role that trauma plays in an individual's life and understanding that the impact of trauma can affect the healing process, both emotionally and physically. As a trauma-informed herbalist, I strive to create a compassionate space to foster safety, trust, belonging, and connection.
Person-Centered Care
My practice focuses on honoring a client's individual needs. I do not use one-size-fits-all protocols. With a holistic approach to care, I take into account the whole person by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I use a body-positive and gender-affirming framework and offer competent care to LGBTQI+ clients.
Sustainable and Ethical Sourcing
As a land steward and former garden educator, my first love is always with the health of the plants and the ecosystems from which they are harvested. I am committed to ethically sourcing herbs that are from organic or local farms using regenerative practices with thoughtful consideration of the livelihoods of the people that harvested them.
